Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 10, 2026

This policy explains exactly what Commercial Hoods Cleaning · HVAC collects when you use this website or request a quote, what we do with it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to respond to your request and to measure our advertising — and we never sell your information.

What we collect

Quote request details. When you submit our quote form we collect the fields you fill in: your name, phone number, email address, the service you need, your preferred contact method, any message or details you add, and — on some business forms — a company name.

Call and WhatsApp clicks. When you tap a phone number or our WhatsApp button, we record that the click happened and where on the page it happened. We do not record the content of your call or chat. WhatsApp conversations are handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.

Ad-attribution data. If you arrive from an ad or a campaign link, we capture the click identifiers and campaign tags in the URL (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, and UTM parameters), the referring site, and the page you landed on. This tells us which advertising actually brought you here.

First-party analytics events. Our own server records basic usage events — page views and clicks on quote or phone buttons — so we can see which pages work. These events go to our server, not to a third party.

How we use it

Responding to you. Your quote request is stored in our customer-management system so our team can respond, prepare your quote, schedule the work, and keep a record of the services we performed for you.

Advertising measurement. When our measurement tags are active, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking to learn which campaigns produce real requests. For Google's Enhanced Conversions, your email address and phone number are hashed in your browser with SHA-256 before anything is sent — Google receives the irreversible hash, never your raw contact details. We do not send your name, message, or any other form content to ad platforms.

Cookies, tags & local storage

Attribution record (“chc_attr”). We store the ad-attribution data described above in your browser's localStorage under the key chc_attr. It keeps the first campaign that brought you here and the most recent one, expires after 90 days, and is attached to your request only if you submit the quote form. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Google tags. When enabled, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads tags set their own cookies to measure visits and conversions. Our first-party analytics events do not use third-party cookies.

Opting out. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works normally either way.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that run this site and our advertising: our hosting provider, analytics and advertising platforms (Google, as described above), and — if call tracking is enabled in the future — a call-tracking provider. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

We never sell your personal information. Not to data brokers, not to marketers, not to anyone.

Retention, security & your rights

We keep lead and service records for as long as we need them to respond to your request, perform and stand behind the work, and meet bookkeeping and legal obligations — then we delete or anonymize them. Access to stored leads is restricted to our team.

Under Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA), you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Email service@commercialhoodscleaning.com and we will respond to your request.

Privacy requests & contact

For any privacy question or request, email service@commercialhoodscleaning.com or contact us. Our service terms are in the terms of service.

This policy is effective as of June 10, 2026. If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and its effective date.
